Let’s Get Personal

Todd and Sabrina Farber, owners of Garden Guy, have been married for 18 years and have 5 children and are proud to have the most beautiful grandchild ever born, named Titus.  Todd grew up in Houston and went to Bellaire High School and then on to Texas A&M (WHOOP!) where he earned his degree in Horticulture in 1991.  Sabrina was born and raised in Indianapolis, but got to Texas as quick as she could.  She earned her BA in Mass Media and Speech from Houston Baptist University in 1995. The Farbers have lived in the First Colony area of Missouri City for the past twelve years.  Todd enjoys spending time with his boys hunting, fishing and hiking.  Sabrina enjoys reading aloud to her kiddos, helping with the business and stirring soup for dinner.

Todd says:

I have always loved working with plants and being in the outdoors.  My years at A&M in Horticulture and field experience in residential landscape design and installation have been a natural extension of those loves.  I never get tired of working with homeowners planning and designing what will work for them.  I have found a niche in a smaller, home-owner market and I love it.

We’re unique in that we only work in residential landscaping and when you get to know us, you see we are indeed just small company working quietly for people who are much like us. It’s just me and Sabrina, a few great crew members. Todd Farber is more than a Sugarland landscaper, he is a Sugar Land landscape designer.

We turn around our proposals quickly and we complete our projects completely before going on to other homes.  We try to treat folks’ homes like we want ours treated.  Our overhead is minimal and we try to run everything on a cash basis. (You know that when you see our install trucks!  Not fancy, but they get the job done!)   We can charge you less because, quite frankly, we don’t owe as many folks as most companies do.

FRESH    Todd brings fresh ideas to your home’s existing landscape. Creative landscapes on-budget and on-time filled with Texas-Natives plants that will withstand the heat and GROW better with time.

LOCAL   We’re your neighbor. We live in First Colony in Fort Bend County and have since 2001.  We serve many parts of Houston but concentrate on Fort Bend County. If you are looking for a Sugar Land landscaper, a Sienna landscaper or Katy landscaper look no farther. We have a passion for landscape design!

FAMILY-OWNED Know the phrase “Mom & Pop Shop”? That’s us! We run Garden Guy simply with Todd in the field, drawing at the design table or getting dirty with his crew members.  Sabrina’s at home with several children handling appointment scheduling, caring for clients and stirring soup for dinner.
